SEL in schools

The socio-emotional learning programme in schools is mainly targeted at adolescents.It starts with an SEL workshop.

SEL workshop

The students will identify individual triggers of their emotions,document & discuss those triggers and also uncover the spontaneous and natural reactions to these triggers.

Walk in their shoes

The process of identifying the causes of emotions in self and others and realizing and understanding the various aspects of emotions.

Collaborative discussion

The above process is followed by collaborative discussion about various emotional issues that the students face and the analysis of these emotional issues.

Bridging the gap

The collected data is collated,analysed and patterns are established and are shared with the teachers -a kind of bridging the gap between the teaching  fraternity and the student community.

Empathize

The same is discussed with the parents to create empathetic connection between parents and children.
